The Acme Furniture Suitor Music Recording Studio Desk is packed with features. It is equipped with 3 shelves: a narrow top shelf, a main shelf, and sliding lower shelf that can be used for a MIDI keyboard. This desk also comes equipped with a headset hook and a cup holder, so you'll be all set to focus on your music projects for any length of time. The size of this desk is especially great if you have limited space to work in. The dimensions are 47 inches wide, 28 inches deep, and it sits 38 inches high. I have mine set up in a small bedroom and this desk fits just fine. The desk even appears to come with parts for those who want to attach analog recording equipment, like synthesizers, to their desks.
This desk was relatively easy to assemble. The instructions that come with it are picture-based and the parts were very clearly labeled. While the instructions didn’t include any other additional text to accompany the images, I managed to get the desk assembled successfully in about 90 minutes. The desk comes with most tools needed to get the desk constructed. The only extra supplies I need were a screwdriver and a pair of scissors.
For those who value aesthetics, this desk features a killer design. Right now, it comes in three different color options (white, black, and yellow). The textured surface of the shelves adds bonus style points and seems to help with gripping equipment. The only catch is that the textured surface makes it less than ideal to write and draw on.
